Description of Course:
A Heartsaver Instructor may teach the American Heart Association Heartsaver Courses including: Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Classroom Instructor-Led Course, Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Hands-On Skills Session, Heartsaver CPR AED Classroom Instructor-Led Course, Heartsaver CPR AED Hands-On Skills Session, Heartsaver First Aid Classroom Instructor-Led Course, Heartsaver First Aid Hands-On Skills Session, Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED Classroom Instructor-Led Course, Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED Hands-On Skills Session, Heartsaver for K-12 Schools, Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogen, and Family and Friends CPR. 2020 American Heart Association Heartsaver Instructor Manual is required to attend the course. 

Steps to Becoming an American Heart Association Heartsaver Instructor: 

• Student will need to complete an Instructor Candidate Application and align with an authorized American Heart Association Training Center before enrolling in the Heartsaver Instructor Course. CPR Heart of Angels, LLC is an authorized American Heart Association Training Center currently accepting Heartsaver Instructor Candidate Applications.
• Student must have current American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Course eCard with eCard number status and be proficient in all of the skills that is required under the Heartsaver discipline. 
• Student must successfully complete the 2020 AHA Guidelines Heartsaver Instructor Essentials Online Course and the classroom hands-on session. You can purchase and pay American Heart Association directly. AHA Website: https://shopcpr.heart.org | Course: Heartsaver Instructor Essentials Online (2020 AHA Guidelines) | AHA Product Number: 20-1418 | You must print the Course Completion Certificate and bring a copy to the Heartsaver Instructor Course. The Instructor Essentials Course must be completed before attending the Heartsaver Instructor Course.
• Student must successfully complete the Heartsaver Instructor Classroom Course and Paperwork. 
• Student must successfully be monitored by CPR Heart of Angels, LLC Training Center Faculty (TCF) member while teaching your first class. This will be scheduled on the same day immediately after the Instructor Course. The Training Center Coordinator may require additional monitoring. CPR Heart of Angels, LLC is an authorized American Heart Association Training Center. 
• Student will be issued a Heartsaver Instructor Course eCard after successful completion of all requirements.
• Student must purchase own Instructor Books, Student Workbooks, DVD Video’s, etc. Student must bring all materials to the Heartsaver Instructor Course. Directed Feedback Device Manikins will be discussed during the Heartsaver Instructor Course. 
• Your Training Center will grant you access to the current emergency cardiovascular care science, course updates, training resources, and tools through the online American Heart Association Instructor Network. You will be granted access to post your classes on the American Heart Association Public Class Connector after completion of the Heartsaver Instructor Course.

The cost of $250.00 includes the Heartsaver Instructor Course and Monitoring ONLY. This course is only for instructors who are established and have been previously trained by CPR Heart of Angels, LLC Training Center.
